Privacy notice

What we collect

• When you book: your name, email address, phone number, rental dates, and where you want the vehicle delivered.
• A photograph of your ID card or passport. Required to rent. See below.
• When you message us: your name, email address and whatever you write.
• Payment details are handled by Stripe, not by us. We never see or store your card number.

Your ID document

This is the most sensitive thing we hold, so to be specific about it:

• It is required because we do not take a deposit. It is the only recourse available if a vehicle is returned unusable.
• It is stored in private storage behind signed, expiring links — not in a public folder, and not anywhere it can be found by guessing a URL.
• It is not shared, sold, or passed to anyone outside this business.
• It is kept for the duration of your rental and a limited period afterwards to cover any dispute, then deleted.
• You can ask us to delete it — see below.

Why we collect it

To take and fulfil your booking, to contact you about it, and to meet our obligations if something goes wrong. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell them.

Who else sees it

• Stripe processes payments and holds the payment record.
• Supabase hosts our database and file storage.
• Where the vehicle belongs to another operator, they receive what they need to hand it over — your name, dates and delivery point. They do not receive your ID document.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It sets cookies in your browser and Google acts as a processor for that data. We look at it in aggregate — we are not trying to identify you, and we do not build advertising profiles.

If you are in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, analytics and advertising storage are switched off by default. Nothing is stored and no analytics cookie is set unless you choose otherwise.

You can opt out anywhere by installing Google'sbrowser add-on, or by blocking cookies for this site. Nothing on the site stops working if you do.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact page. We will not make it difficult.
