Getting hold of it
Collect it from the owner, or have it waiting at the ferry dock or your hotel. You pick when you book.
Three ways to get it
- The ferry dock. Timed to your arrival, so the trip starts the moment you're off the boat.
- Your hotel. Pick it from the list when you book.
- Collect it in person, if you'd rather. Some people prefer to, and some owners only work that way.
Each listing shows which of these its owner offers, and you choose from those when you book. The vehicles here belong to people on the island rather than to the site, so this isn't one blanket policy — it's whatever the person handing you the keys actually does.
Returning it
Wherever you got it. Delivered to the ferry, returned to the ferry. Collected from the shop, returned to the shop.
One rule. Nothing to arrange at the end of your trip.

The ferry dock, your hotel, or the owner’s shop — whichever of those they offer. Each listing says, before you pay.
Where do I return it?

One rule, no arranging.
What if the ferry doesn’t sail?
It happens, and it is nobody’s fault. Message the owner you booked with as soon as you know — their number is on your booking — and they will sort the dates out.
Cancellation terms are set by whoever owns the vehicle, and are shown on the listing before you pay.
